Bodyboats – study

Hanging out in the studio today I couldn’t help doing a bit of work. The best thing about events like Open Studios is the conversations – hearing different thoughts that might spur you to work in a different direction. Today, a visitor mistook one of the dinghies in a drawing for a body, and it led me to make a few studies that I’m quite excited about, and plan to develop into a new painting.
